The most important coming of age ritual in the Jewish religion is the Bar Mitzvah (Bat Mitzvah for girls). This beautifully designed Mitzvah themed decorative storage box is thus a wonderful gift idea to give a young man or woman on one of the most memorable days of their lives. The lid of the box is decorated with a decidedly Jewish theme and leaves no doubt as to the relevance of what the box is to be used for.

The Bar or Bat Mitzvah is traditionally a time of gift giving to the young man or woman reaching adulthood. A decorative storage box is an excellent gift choice for it allows the B’nai Mitzvah to keep significant items that are meaningful in their lives safe and sound in a dry and secure environment. Photographs, drawings, letters, keepsakes, trinkets, kippot and any other memento will find safe storage in a Mitzvah themed box like the one pictured above.

Then, in five, ten, twenty and even thirty years, the box can be opened and memories of childhood and early adulthood remembered. The significance of a Mitzvah themed decorative storage box is clear to see and will therefore make a meaningful and well received gift for a 13 year-old and their family. Written on the lid of the box are the words: “May the Faith and Wisdom of the Torah Guide and Inspire you Throughout Your Life”. Also present in the lid’s decoration is the Sefer Torah along with the yad (pointer).

The Mitzvah box is the creation of artist Sandra Satz and she has signed and numbered each one individually. A soft flannel drawstring bag is also included to keep letters and notes from guests and friends, safe and clean. It can then be placed on a shelf, bookcase or table in a bedroom, living room or home study.
