If you’ve ever fantasised about a modern cliff top villa with space to swing a thousand cats, then the following pictures are likely to have you drooling. The architect of this contemporary and stylish Mediterranean villa is the famous and much esteemed British designer Sir Norman Foster. The seven-level building was constructed within the constraints of a structure that was already on the site. However, Foster modified and adapted the pre-existing building into a 6,500 square foot villa.

From the living level or the dining level, it has been described as a cross between the deck of a ship and a helicopter. With the glass wall closed it’s an exotic winter garden.”

A glass elevator connects these levels to the bedrooms below and to the roof and pool terrace. The dining level is elevated above the living level and main terrace for clear, uninterrupted views out to sea,” adds Foster.
